I’ve known this great family now for several years. Our daughters attend the same school and also participate in the same Girls Scout Brownie Troop. This wonderful woman also happens to be their leader. She has definitely earned her wings for her patience and time given to the girls. Thanks for hanging out with me in Old Town! November 22, 2010As I was working on these images from my Old Town session yesterday, I really started thinking about capturing connections within relationships. A connection can be seen by the way someone looks at the person they love, how they hold them, or other small subtle gestures. This is why I love my job so much. I love freezing those moments in time so my clients can look back at these memories. Thank you so much E, J & baby N for giving me a glimpse into your relationship & life.

I think we picked one of the hottest day of the year to do our session. We tried to beat the heat by heading to Old Town Alexandria for a morning photography shoot, but as I was driving, my car thermometer read 94 degrees! Despite the heat, we still had a great time playing ball and hanging out. This little guy is definitely all boy and loves playing ball, and his Thomas the Train. Thanks “C” family for coming out and enduring the heat and humidity, it was well worth it.
