My friend Erin was gracious enough to allow me to photograph her brand new baby boy. Most of the newborns I’ve photographed are around two weeks old, and they tend to be less sleepy. This guy made us work hard for those sleepy poses even though he was only 6 days old. It was well worth all our hard work. Thank you Erin and Grandma for helping me position and soothe him. I couldn’t get over the head of hair this little beauty had on her head. She wins the prize so far with all the newborns I’ve photographed. I really enjoyed hanging out and putting my baby whisperer skills to the test. (Yes, I had a previous client call me that.) This little one was a bit older at 6 weeks. We managed to snap a few images of her sleeping, but for the most part, she wanted to see what was going on. She was extremely alert and very easy going.
