I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these two cuties many times. I’ve traveled up north to Minneapolis after both their births, to photograph them as newborns. They are my best friend’s (and first cousin) darling girls, Ari & Cora. We met this time at my sisters in Wisconsin for our annual girls week, which involves spending lots of time outside swimming at the lake, kayaking, etc. Can’t wait until next year!

I was so excited when this family contacted me. We have two things in common, first off we’re both military families, and secondly we both live in Lorton! It was an amazingly beautiful night and we took full advantage of the perfect light. Mom wanted to get the little guy’s 6 months pictures done before he started getting teeth. I think he beat us to the punch! He spent the entire session chewing on everyone’s fingers! Thanks G family for inviting me over.

My friend Erin was gracious enough to allow me to photograph her brand new baby boy. Most of the newborns I’ve photographed are around two weeks old, and they tend to be less sleepy. This guy made us work hard for those sleepy poses even though he was only 6 days old. It was well worth all our hard work. Thank you Erin and Grandma for helping me position and soothe him. I couldn’t get over the head of hair this little beauty had on her head. She wins the prize so far with all the newborns I’ve photographed. I really enjoyed hanging out and putting my baby whisperer skills to the test. (Yes, I had a previous client call me that.) This little one was a bit older at 6 weeks. We managed to snap a few images of her sleeping, but for the most part, she wanted to see what was going on. She was extremely alert and very easy going. Thanks “G” family for inviting me in your home to capture those precious moments.
